As part of physiotherapy, manual therapy is a specialised, hands-on way to find and treat pain, stiffness, and movement problems in muscles, joints, and soft tissues. When pain or limited mobility make it hard to do everyday things, doctors often suggest it.
It is based on anatomy, biomechanics, and clinical reasoning.
A lot of women have pain that gets worse over time. For example, they may have neck pain that gets worse at night, back pain that makes it hard to bend, or joint pain that makes even simple movements feel hard. Manual therapy fixes these problems by working with the body’s tissues directly, not just with machines or exercises.
The main goal of manual therapy provided at our physiotherapy centre in Surat at The Naari, is to help the body move normally again. When muscles stay tense or joints get stiff for a long time, the body changes in ways that make pain worse and make things less effective. People with skilled hands can feel where movement is limited and gently help the body get back to balance.
